How to Maintain and Clean Pigeon Safety Nets Easily

Properly installed synthetic safety nets require very little routine maintenance. However, simple periodic care ensures your balcony remains clean and the netting looks virtually invisible.

1. Periodic Dusting & Rinsing

During regular balcony cleaning, use a light water spray or garden hose nozzle to rinse off accumulated airborne dust from the net cords. Avoid using abrasive scrubbing brushes or harsh chlorine bleaches, which can degrade protective coatings.

2. Annual Anchor Hook Inspection

Visually inspect the perimeter hooks and border ropes once a year. Check that the perimeter rope remains taut in its anchor eyelets and has not loosened due to building settling.
